Removing invasive species

Practical Details:

We will be working a short distance from the Westmont School parking lot. The school property backs onto Witty's Lagoon Park. Please bring gloves and any other safety equipment you deem necessary. CRD employees have marked the area we will be working in with flagging tape and signage. The plan is to remove ALL the HOLLY, DAPHNE, IVY, AND INVASIVE BLACKBERRY, before moving on to another clearly marked area. The invasives infestation in Witty's is very heavy so this is going to be a long-term project.
