Event Summary:
Surveillance of Galliformes in Estonian forests: mainly the western capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus), but also the black grouse (Tetrao tetrix), and the hazel grouse (Tetrastes bonasia). The volunteers will mark down all encounters, and collect the feathers, feces, and egg shells.

Practical Details:
More information will be posted on the website www.talgud.ee. The volunteers will spend the workdays outside with packed lunch. There will be no surveillance on days with heavy rainfall. Note that the terrain may be rough and choose Your clothes and footwear accordingly. The group will be cooking their own breakfast. Dinner will be provided at the accommodation site.
