Event Summary:

Grab your work gloves and get ready to restore our amazing urban forest. Lincoln Park includes 80 acres of forested areas, with a huge diversity of native trees and plants. But our urban forests are threatened by introduced plant species (like blackberry and ivy) and need our help to thrive and remain healthy. This is where YOU come in! We promise you a good workout and lots of eco-karma. Good for the environment and good for your health!

Practical Details:

Dress in NW layers to stay warm/cool and dry. We suggest long sleeves and pants year-round to protect from from scratches. Wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes or boots. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated, garden/work gloves and and your favorite digging tool, if you have one. Forget your gloves? No worries, we will have extra gloves and tools available to borrow.
