Event Summary:
Saturday stewardship meetups gather and head out to on-going restoration projects within the Swan Lake Christmas hill nature sanctuary boundary. Activities may include pulling ivy, weeding, clipping broom, or clearing black berry
Practical Details:
We leave for restoration sites at 9:00am sharp, please ensure you arrive in time to walk out with the group. all tools needed (everyone gets their own set and then returns them at the end of the shift) NOTE: if the tool is new to you, please let Jay know and he can go over safe use work gloves which are returned at end of shift (if you have your own garden gloves please use these) training on plant identification and how the Nature Sanctuary conserve native species cookies at the end of the shift to restore your energy You provide: willing hands and minds to learn more about this important conservation work your own work clothes and closed toe shoes
