Restoration at the Nature Sanctuary - Tuesday Crew

Event Summary:

Tuesday Crew or Saturday Crew: weekly ecosystem restoration from 9-11 am, followed by coffee/cookies! Join this fun and friendly environmental restoration crew of volunteers to remove invasive species and act as nature stewards at the Nature Sanctuary. The ecosystem restoration volunteers work as a team to remove invasive species, improve trail quality, and protect the ecosystems at Swan Lake and Christmas Hill.

Practical Details:

Meet in parking lot at 841 Ralph Street (red house on corner of Ralph and Swan Lake Rd) shortly before 9 am for location assignments. Please follow health and safety protocols during the shift.  Shift Info: We provide: - all tools needed (everyone gets their own set and then returns them at the end of the shift) - work gloves which are returned at end of shift (if you have your own garden gloves please use these) - training on plant identification and how the Nature Sanctuary conserve native species - cookies at the end of the shift to restore your energy  You provide: - willing hands and minds to learn more about this important conservation work your own work clothes and closed toe shoes Thanks for supporting the Nature Sanctuary in this
