Event Summary:

Tuesday Crew or Saturday Crew: weekly ecosystem restoration from 9-11 am, followed by coffee/cookies! Join this fun and friendly environmental restoration crew of volunteers to remove invasive species and act as nature stewards at the Nature Sanctuary. The ecosystem restoration volunteers work as a team to remove invasive species, improve trail quality, and protect the ecosystems at Swan Lake and Christmas Hill.

Practical Details:

 Meet in parking lot at 841 Ralph Street (red house on corner of Ralph and Swan Lake Rd) shortly before 9 am for location assignments. Please follow health and safety protocols during the shift.  Shift Info: We provide: all tools needed (everyone gets their own set and then returns them at the end of the shift) work gloves which are returned at end of shift (if you have your own garden gloves please use these) training on plant identification and how the Nature Sanctuary conserve native species cookies at the end of the shift to restore your energy  You provide: willing hands and minds to learn more about this important conservation work your own work clothes and closed toe shoes Thanks for supporting the Nature Sanctuary in this
