Event Summary:
We will be removing invasive species from this beautiful park, further building on the work we did last year clearing ivy & planting trees. All ages, abilities, and experience levels welcome! Practical Details:
We will be working rain or shine! Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bring weather-appropriate clothes (hat, sunglasses, rain jacket, etc as need). We recommend long sleeves/pants to protect from thorns & insects. Tools & gloves will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own if you have them. Meet in the main field in Peter Grant Park. At the end of Greenglade Road, walk past the gate and follow the trail all the way to the grassy area. Look for GVGT signs guiding the way! There is parking along the road, including in the small field beside the address 9485 Greenglade Rd.
COVID-19 Protocols:
Hand sanitizer and masks are available. All tools & dishes are cleaned before activities. This activity is taking place outdoors, where there is room to spread out.
