Date & Time:
June 3, 2023 | 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (Local Timezone)

Event Summary:

Saanich is home to diverse natural areas, with one of the most endangered ecosystems in all of Canada. We manage many natural areas in parks to protect and enhance biodiversity. From wildflower meadows to forest streams, these spaces provide vital wildlife habitat and opportunities for visitors to enjoy and learn about the local environment. Impacts from urban pressures and invasive species are managed through ecological restoration projects and volunteer stewardship. Join incredible Pulling Together volunteers at Rithet's Bog to control the spread of Reed Canary Grass and other invasive species in this vital conservation area.
