Event Summary:

The Mystic Vale Restoration Project is an ongoing restoration site located right on the University of Victoria's campus. Volunteers and dedicated student leaders have transformed the site through the removal of litter, Himalayan blackberry, ivy, and the planting of native species garden beds and a native pollinator garden. For the Make A Difference Week, activities will focus on enhancing the native pollinator garden. Stay tuned for more details leading up to the event.

Practical Details:

We will meet at the sump house in Mystic Vale, across from 2291 Cedar Hill Cross Rd. The sump house is covered in bright graffiti, and is hard to miss from the trail. Participants should dress according to the weather of the day, bring water and pack snacks if they have allergies. Light snacks will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves if they have them. Please contact Andrea at andiejoanne@gmail.com with any questions.

COVID-19 Protocols:

This event will take place completely outdoors. Hand sanitizer will be available. Please bring your own gloves and tools if you have them for extra cleanliness. Otherwise, clean tools will be available, and distance can be maintained throughout the space as needed.
