Creating pathways (crusher-dust/mulch), Amending planting beds with compost, Planting native prairie species

Practical Details:

The project site is located at the front (east) side of the building. Volunteers will have access to the gym for breaks and the school washrooms. Parking is available by the school and along the residential streets. You can sign up for the morning (9am-12pm) and/or afternoon (1-4 pm) volunteer work shift. Lunch will be provided over the noon-hour. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your work shift to register. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Please bring a reusable water bottle and thermos/mug (for hot drinks), to help us reduce waste. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
