Practical Details:

What to bring: Gloves, water, safety glasses, and loppers or handsaws if available . We will be working outside in shrubs, tall grasses and brush, so please dress accordingly for the event and weather. Closed toed shoes are required. We will also provide extra hand saws, loppers and gloves for volunteers to use if needed. Location and time: Nelson Woods, our newest land acquisition set to become a preserve!(Closest address is Solomon Road, Midland MI 48640). The event will start at 9 AM on Thursday, June 6th. Directions: The preserve is located off Sandow Road, which is off of M-20. Head north on Sandow Road until you get to Solomon Road. The preserve is on the corner of Solomon and Glen Road. Attendees must park on Solomon or Glen Road and a LFC staff member will be waiting at the trail
