Event Summary:

Lionel's Sustainable Community Development Advisor's will be an event which will specifically focus on bringing awareness about the nexus between social development, economic development and environmental protection as pillars of sustainable development. The event will prove the differences between the three pillars and prove how do they work together. Participants will be taught how sustainable development becomes incomplete and what happens if we are biased towards one pillar of sustainable development. Using the knowledge gained from learning for nature course on ecosystem restoration and application among others, participants will gain knowledge on the importance of ecosystems. Impacts of separating these pillars and the necessity of respecting all the pillars will be a priority.

Practical Details:

Participants are encouraged to wear green color to depict our call for green growth through sustainable development. Those who are at school are encouraged to bring note books to learn more about sustainable development from the practical site both scientifically as well as through indgenous knowledge benefit.
