Event Summary:

Mexico is a volcanic country and in the south of Mexico City there are basaltic ecosystems called "Pedregales". The UNAM protects more than 300 hectares of "Pedregales", and in the Faculty of Sciences there is a remnant of rock called El "Molotito". Every year, with an ecological day, the protection and conservation of "Pedregales" is celebrated, with the support of the school community.

Practical Details:

Official dissemination of the event, registration of attendees, adequate clothing and materials, safety instructions during the removal of waste and elimination of exotic species. Collection and transfer of waste to the composting treatment.
