Event Summary:

A Potomac River trash cleanup, taking place at three locations along the river. Volunteers will work together to remove litter and debris from the riverbanks and surrounding areas, helping to improve water quality and protect the local environment.

Practical Details:

To participate in the cleanup, all volunteers must sign up through our website. If you are reserving a ticket for someone else, please ensure that the guest volunteer also fills out a waiver of liability form. Additionally, any volunteer under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian in order to participate. Meeting spots for each location will be shared with registered participants via email on the Wednesday prior to the event. All essential details, including event information, directions, and important updates, will also be available on our website. For safety and comfort, volunteers are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing, including long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy shoes or boots. Waterproof footwear is recommended, as some areas may be muddy.
