Event Summary:
As part of an intercontinental initiative, teams of conservationists, veterinarians, and researchers will provide free vaccinations to dogs and cats in rural communities near protected areas.
The goal is to reduce disease transmission between domestic and wild animals, especially small wild cats.
In addition to vaccinations (including rabies), the campaign includes community education on responsible pet care, zoonotic disease prevention, and the ecological benefits of immunization.
Mobile teams will travel to local communities using adapted vehicles and promote the schedule via local media and institutions.
