Event Summary:
This activity is mainly divided into two parts: (1) introduce the purpose, background, field observation equipment and data acquisition process of the field observation station; introduce the urban forest ecosystem service, revealing the roles of forests in water conservation, atmospheric environment purification, carbon fixation and oxygen release, forest recreation and so on; (2) work with the staff of the station to identify and remove alien invasive plant species in the study area covered by the observation equipment. The work quality would be identified by the number of garbage bags filled or the weight of organisms removed.
Practical Details:
Participants need to wait at the entrance of the park and the organizer will provide the required tools.
