Some ways to get involved… Dress in green day for gold coin donation Take on environmental projects during the week. This could be a rubbish pick up, weeding session, planting day, conservation construction project, or pick an unloved spot at your school or near your school and give it some TLC! Connect with nature for the day! Bush kindergarten or bush school, bird counts, bug hunts, nature art, a local bush walk, or a nature scavenger hunt Check out our online nature classroom or nature connectors for cool activities to do on the day Come along to the Arbor Day Community Planting Event along Tauhara Road (alongside the back of the golf course) on June 7th. There will be free food and lots of free environmental education activities run by conservation experts.
