Greening and cleaning up for the future

Event Summary:

The main activities will consist of planting trees that absorb carbon, cleaning classrooms and the school playground with student volunteers and providing sanitation kits (brooms, trash cans, rake, buckets, soaps, etc. .)

Practical Details:

The tree planting and sanitation equipment delivery event at the Doumanzana school will take place from June 7 to 9, 2024. Participants are invited to meet directly on the school site, located in commune 1 of the Bamako district. Participants are recommended to wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activity, such as walking shoes, a hat and light clothing. Participants do not need to bring any special equipment or water, as all materials necessary for planting trees and handing out sanitation equipment will be provided by the ACPDEM association.
