Pulling invasive species in one of the restoration sites within Esquimalt Gorge Park.

Practical Details:

All restoration tools will be provided, however participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves if they have them. Please bring a water bottle, and dress appropriately for the weather with a hat, sunscreen, layers, and close toed shoes. It is best to wear clothing and shoes that are comfortable to work outdoors in, and that you don't mind getting dirty. The park is relatively level-ground, and accessible by foot, bike, bus or car. If driving, please park in the Gorge Park Pavilion building lot, and walk to the Nature House (follow signs), or park in the Sioux Place lot off of Craigflower Road and walk across the wooden bridge to the Nature House.
