Global Restoration Action: Bangladesh is a collaborative effort between at least 15 schools, aimed at showcasing and promoting ecosystem restoration projects across Bangladesh. With 7 indigenous community schools jointly maintained by the Agami Education Foundation and Probha Aurora, and all schools under Probha Aurora's Eco-Schools Programme, the event brings together diverse initiatives focused on environmental sustainability. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to witness presentations of 30 restoration projects, each representing a unique approach to addressing environmental challenges. From native tree planting to stream clean-ups and wildlife habitat enhancement, these projects demonstrate the collective commitment towards preserving and restoring our natural ecosystems. In addition to project presentations, the event features open discussions led by prominent individuals in the country's environmental sector. These discussions will delve into the significance of global restoration action and the role of community engagement in driving sustainable change. Throughout the day, prominent people from various sectors of the country, including administration, will participate in the open discussion, adding valuable insights and perspectives. Furthermore, participants of the projects will receive certificates as recognition for their efforts, acknowledging their dedication to environmental conservation and restoration. The day culminates in a cultural event dedicated to celebrating the achievements of the Restoration Event and recognizing the importance of ongoing efforts towards environmental conservation.
