Event Summary:
Friends of Tyers Park invite Ben Cruachan Walking Club to join them on a Fungi Ramble on the Wirilda Walking Track. The fungi expert is Eileen Laidlaw who will guide the group on a ramble to observe and examine various fungi found along the track. Note this is a ramble not a walk. The outing should finish about 12 noon. You may wish to bring some lunch or cook something up on the BBQ after we finish. Toilets are available adjacent to the BBQ shelter. The number of BCWC participants is restricted to ten. Judy will accept the first ten to register. If you require instructions to find the location, please contact Judy.
Practical Details:
Participants should bring a small mirror, a magnifying glass, any reference books or charts and their cameras. Warm/wet weather gear and sturdy footwear is advisable.
