Bell Bowl Salvage Invasive Species Removal

Event Summary:

We need YOUR help to maintain the health of this unique prairie ecosystem! We will be removing invasive weeds in the Bell Bowl Prairie project area. In 2023, FPWC relocated prairie soil from Bell Bowl Prairie to help restore a designated area in Cedar Cliff Forest Preserve. The relocated soil contains valuable roots, seed, fungi, and microorganisms. This is a continuation of last year’s Make a Difference event. Please join us as we make a difference in our community and environment.

Practical Details:

FPWC will provide the necessary equipment for this project. Please wear appropriate attire; long pants, long sleeved shirts, closed toed shoes, and hat.
