Event Summary:

Environment Week: Awareness and Connection with Nature
To celebrate Environment Week, a special event will take place with a diverse program designed to foster environmental education and a deeper appreciation for nature. Activities will encourage reflection on the importance of conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources.
The day will begin with an environmental talk covering climate change, ecological challenges, and daily sustainable practices. Participants will then visit the Museum of Ecology and Mountaineering, where they will explore local ecosystems and biodiversity.
Following that, they will tour the Scientific Breeding Center, which focuses on wildlife rehabilitation and scientific research to support conservation.
The event concludes with a guided interpretive trail through the Aguaí Reserve, led by environmental educators, offering immersive observation of natural resources and reflection on human impacts and preservation.

Practical Details:

• Facilitation: Activities will be guided by qualified ecologists, biologists, and environmental educators.
• Briefings: Each activity starts with a safety and conduct briefing.
• Safety: Participants should wear closed shoes, comfortable clothes, bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, water, and a light snack.
• First Aid: Available on site.
• Conduct: No littering, feeding animals, or damaging nature. Use of cell phones is allowed for photos only, without disrupting activities.
• Group Recommendation: One adult supervisor per 10 students.
