Probha Aurora is dedicated to revitalizing culinary traditions, restoring the lost heritage of educational institutions, and preserving the natural flow of rivers and waterways. Their mission focuses on enhancing the overall health of forests, ponds, rivers, and other ecosystems. Through writing, research, and cultural events, they generate evidence and advocate for reclaiming lost heritage while ensuring the availability of traditional products by establishing sustainable farms and factories.
With programmes such as Eco-Schools, Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE), UNEP’s Tide Turners Plastic Challenge (TTPC), and Guardians of Dhaka, Probha Aurora actively engages communities in promoting sustainable practices and inspires participation in environmental restoration. This approach develops models for adaptation and mitigation, empowering youth and equipping them with the resources needed to become entrepreneurs.
As a recognized sustainable green enterprise, Probha Aurora plays a significant role in ecosystem restoration, one of their six foundational pillars. They proudly serve as Bangladesh’s sole national operator of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and are active members of SER, contributing significantly to the Asia chapter.
This year, during the Make a Difference Week celebration, Probha Aurora aims to create a distinctive impact by hosting events in Bangladesh, throughout Asia, and globally. Their goal is to raise awareness about the urgent need for restoration efforts in daily practices.
They invite support from individuals and organizations, as well as financial contributions to enhance their initiatives. Together, it is believed that a meaningful difference can be made for a sustainable future.
