Event Summary:
Starting in 2022 we are restoring at the agrarian school wetland of the De La Leche stream basin. For the third consecutive year, the donation of native trees by the El Palmar National Park has been achieved. The trees are being planted and monitored. During this time, the number of tree species increased and some have resisted drought better, such as those with adaptations of small leaves and thorns. The International Foundation for the Restoration of Ecosystems Chapter Argentina (FIRE), along with the educational center's directors, teachers, and technicians, carry out this activity. On Environment Day, the benefits of restoration will be explained. Plantings will be carried out in the wetland to young students, and teachers, open to parents, school staff, and the community.
Practical Details:
Shovels, stakes, tags and watering cans will be used.
