Event Summary:

Environmental Experiences during Environment Week
In honor of Environment Week, this educational experience seeks to connect participants to nature through interactive activities.
The event begins with an environmental talk facilitated by ecology professionals, followed by a tour of the Museum of Ecology and Mountaineering, where participants will learn about local biomes and biodiversity.
The group will then visit the Scientific Breeding Center for Conservation, learning about the recovery of endangered wild cats and the importance of wildlife science.
Finally, a guided interpretive trail in the Aguaí Reserve will immerse the group in nature while addressing ecosystem services and the importance of human responsibility in protecting the environment.

Practical Details:

• Facilitation: Activities will be guided by qualified ecologists, biologists, and environmental educators.
• Briefings: Each activity starts with a safety and conduct briefing.
• Safety: Participants should wear closed shoes, comfortable clothes, bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, water, and a light snack.
• First Aid: Available on site.
• Conduct: No littering, feeding animals, or damaging nature. Use of cell phones is allowed for photos only, without disrupting activities.
• Group Recommendation: One adult supervisor per 10 students.
