Event Summary:
Restore ecological health to this island of rare plants! If we are lucky, the rare Kankakee Mallow may be in bloom. In addition, come learn about the many Illinois Nature Preserves that need stewardship. Friends of Illinois Nature Preserves will be present to share the about the needs of the Illinois Nature Preserves and opportunities available across the entire state of Illinois.
Practical Details:
Bring a lunch and water. We will boat out to the site.
