Event Summary:
The South East Alberta Watershed Alliance invites volunteers to participate in the manual removal of invasive plants and noxious weeds in the riparian areas of the Seven Persons Creek at Saamis park. We will remove Russian olive seedlings, hoary cress, Canada and sow thistles, and others we can find.
Practical Details:
We meet at the parking lot by the tallest teepee. Please come dress for fieldwork and the weather. Wear sturdy foot wear. Bring own water and refreshments. SEAWA will provide tools, work gloves, & protective goggles.
COVID-19 Protocols:
Provincial restrictions have been lifted. This is an outdoor activity and requires no masks.
