Mapping and Surveying Farmer Planted Trees on Their Fields

Event Summary:

The event shall involve moving in two parishes on different days. The main activity will be surveying and mapping trees that were planted from 2019-2021. The participants are expected to come with smartphones having enough internet data or able to work offline. The survey shall involve using TREEMAPPER application from plant-for-the-planet platform that will be downloaded before visiting the field. Transportation details of participants to reach the fields shall be shared soon

Practical Details:

Participants shall first meet at our offices in Kigoro 1 parish, Kasese District for initial planning. participants are required to come with all weather condition wear and light shoes.

Participants are required to come with smartphones with internet data. NOTE: Where resources allow, participants may bring a used laptop for the department, as the department currently rely on shared computer.
