Event Summary:
The restoration awareness for children is organised by Raman Science Center and Planetarium to celebrate world environment day. This will start with plantation in nearby wasteland in urban Nagpur with active involvement of students. This will be followed by two expert talks on restoration and its relevance to ensure living in harmony with nature. The event will also see inauguration of medicinal plant exhibition and hands on understanding to grow medicinal plants. Event will also have sit and draw/poster making competition for the children followed by an open house quiz competition
Practical Details:
Participants are to meet in Raman Science Center Campus at 9 am IST in the morning with informal clothes. They don't need to bring planting equipments as that would be made available at the site by the organisers.
COVID-19 Protocols:
Mask is mandatory followed by necessary social distancing
