Practical Details:

We'll meet in front of the kiosk on1343 Pasadena Av. If you have a favorite tool or pair of gloves, bring them with you. Wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, crew socks and a sturdy pair of shoes. We encourage everyone to bring reusable water bottles, sunscreen and bug repellent. We have plenty of loppers, weed wrenches, shovels, soil knives and gloves in our arsenal. Experts from the Friends of Herbert Taylor Park and Daniel Johnson Park and The Georgia Native Plant Society will be on hand to offer their guidance. You will leave knowing more about invasive species and the most effective ways to remove them.
