Event Summary:
The Mabamba Restoration & Clean-up Campaign 2022 jointly organised by Nature Palace Foundation (NPF) and Mabamba Wetland Eco-tourism Association (MWETA) is a one-day day sensitization and Awareness Campaign involving Community members, schools, local leaders, District Technical and Political Leaders and Civil Society. This year’s event is organized to coincide with both ‘The Make a Difference Week’ spear-headed by the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) and The World Environment Day 2022 celebrated on May 5th. The event will take place at Mabamba Bay Ramsar Site on Tuesday 7th June and about 200 participants are expected to participate. The main celebrant is expected to be Mr. Abu baker Wandera, The National Coordinator UNDP/SGP.

Practical Details:
Participants will meet at Mabamba Bay Landing site at 9:00 AM for a briefing before the kick-off of the day's activities
