Event Summary:
Please join us in removing the invasive species English ivy in the forests of Tseycum First Nation. Ivy has been taking over this area for the last 50-75 years resulting in a lack of biodiversity. Removing the ivy will provide a healthier habitat for pollinators, animals, and harvesters. Our family really appreciates your help!

Practical Details:
Bring food, water, and gloves. Mattocks may be useful, but it's been somewhat easy to pull the ivy out of the ground with your hands. We'll be in the shaded forest, but I invite you to wear long pants/sleeves, a hat, and layers. Access to water and a bathroom will be available in the house nearby. This event is on the Tseycum reservation, so please respect our community when visiting.
