Event Summary:
Since its inception, Surfrider Vancouver Island has been holding monthly beach clean-ups at different locations around the South Island. Beach clean-ups are a fun and exciting way of getting volunteers and community members out to local beaches and participating in a meaningful activity. All the debris is sorted, recycled and disposed of properly.
Practical Details:
We will meet near the parking lot beside our tent. Our clean-ups take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately! We encourage volunteers to bring their own buckets or reusable bags and gloves to collect, as well as a reusable mug to enjoy coffee courtesy of Discovery Coffee.
COVID-19 Protocols:
Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell. Masks are optional.
