Practical Details:

Dress for the weather. Prepare to pack out what you pack in. Bring gloves, snips, snacks and spirit. Pruning saws could take out the big Holly trees at the source, for those willing to venture in that far. Meet at the trailhead at 11am. First stop: broom patch. Next: tea break at the bridge near Grandmother Cedar. Next up: hike toward Mt. Finlayson, left to Bear Mountain, to find the Yoda Hut and cut back English Holly. All along the way, encouraging iNaturalist bioblitz observations and general enjoyment.
