Event Summary:

We are hosting a volunteer event at Florida City Pineland Preserve in Miami-Dade County and need help removing non-native and invasive plants! Get involved and actually see huge restoration efforts take place before your eyes at this ~25 acres pine rockland preserve.

The Institute for Regional Conservation (IRC) is hosting this event as part of the Society for Ecological Restoration's Make A Difference (MAD) Week. An annual event with a GLOBAL IMPACT. MAD Week is an annual week-long event hosted by the Society for Ecological Restoration, a global non-profit organization that works to advance the science, practice, and policy of ecological restoration to sustain biodiversity, improve resilience in a changing climate, and re-establish an ecologically healthy relationship between nature and culture.
