Event Summary:

The Nature Care Fund unit of Nature Connect’s team at Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area (KRCA) in collaboration with its Friends committee members invite you to join us in restoring a section of the Critically Endangered Cape Flats Sand Fynbos veld. We will be revegetating an area which was once disturbed in order to facilitate the velds recovery. On-site propagated plants will be used to revegetate the area and with your help, we can enhance its success rate and continue conserving nature for future generations.

Practical Details:

*Meet: Wetton gate entrance, Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area (Parking available)
*Accessibility: The terrain is relatively flat and easy to walk.
Who can join? All volunteers are welcome from as young as 6 years old.
*RSVP required: To book your spot, email or call 021 700 1843 (07:30-16:00)
*Bring Along: Garden gloves and wear weather appropriate clothes & closed shoes. A camera if you would like to capture your amazing work!
